The People & Place project brief was to reimagine Fitzalan Square, Sheffield as an active high street of the future in either a utopian or dystopian scenario. Located within Fitzalan Square is the Bell House, which was also to be reimagined as an innovative space for a specific user/profession.

Proposal:

In a utopian world 50 years into the future Fitzalan Square will regain its sense of community and return to its former popularity. Within the Square, the Bell House will occupy a newsagents selling vitamin infused sweets and snacks to boost the immune system, and protect the population from virus, while the outside area will be a digital news hub.
